The Italian Homemade Company

The Italian Homemade Company is an innovative food startup from San Francisco, which became one of the most amazing gastronomic entities of the Golden Gate Restaurant Association. The logo was designed in accordance with the client’s directions, which specifically requested the usage of this kind of image and lettering, which are immediately reminiscent of Italy in the American imagination.

The elements were developed to convey the idea that it is a new concept of Italian food service, made with high-quality, handmade basic ingredients, so the image was stylized as much as possible, and a vintage lettering, “cleaned up” and intentionally unsteady, so as to mimic “handwriting”, was chosen. The half circle symbolizes the Golden Gate Bridge.

This logo appeared on TV programs such as Little Big Italy on the Italian channel NOVE, Shop & Dine in the 49 on SFGovTV and also on several magazines such as Panorama and San Francisco Magazine.
